Built in 1905 by Sidney Herbert Adley, during the ostrich feather "Boom" period [1880 - 1914]. This magnificent Victorian sandstone mansion was bought in 1989 by the Retief family and restored to its former glory.

      

Hilda started a bed & breakfast in 1994 with two rooms, Adley House has since continually being growing due to demand and is now a South African Tourism council graded 4 star Guest House with 14 rooms.

 

Situated in an upmarket residential area within walking distance of town on an acre of land, it has safe parking, well-kept English Gardens and 2 swimming pools. Air-conditioned rooms with TV's tea & coffee trays, bar fridge, toiletries and all the necessary amenities to make your stay most pleasant.
