Rosenhof Country House is situated in Oudtshoorn, en route to the Cango Caves, Ostrich Farm and the Swartberg Pass. The carefully renovated homestead (Circa 1852), with its yellowwood beams and ceilings and a tasteful collection of antique furniture, exudes an aura of authenticity.

The lovely rose garden, which gave Rosenhof its name, leads to stylishly decorated bedrooms, each individually furnished. All rooms provide air-conditioning, underfloor heating, Wi-Fi, satellite television (DSTV), telephone, mini bar, digital safe and tea and coffee facilities.

The Bird’s Cottage offers private en suite accomodation. The Cottage is nestled between indigenous trees, creating the experience of rus in urbe. Guests are accommodated in style within three en suite bedrooms. A shared lounge leads directly to a outdoor terrace and swimming pool.

The two Executive Suites each with their own pool, lounge and patio, has tranquil views of the Swartberg Mountain. Rosenhof has a cosy pub and several luxury lounges with fireplaces where visitors can relax and admire works from well-known South African artists. In summer, cool down in the pool or take tea in the manicured gardens. The Wellness Centre offers a fully equipped Gym, Sauna and Spa.

The two executive suites have their own swimming pools and are located 100m from the
main house for extra privacy.

Bird’s Cottage:

3 NEW guest bedrooms in one house. Ideal for couples, friends or families travelling together. Each Bedroom has been given a South African Bird Species name as the Cottage is surrounded by trees with many bird species, nesting close by.

On-site Facilities:

Traditional country cuisine with a cordon bleu touch and an extensive wine collection will make dining at Rosenhof an unforgettable experience.

Breakfast is equally memorable, served in the sunny breakfast room overlooking
the manicured gardens.
